Join the NW Angler’s Convention this April 29th & 30th to learn how to find success on our local Lakes and Reservoirs in search of Kokanee! With shorter Salmon seasons and anglers looking to spend quality time with friends & family on the water, finding good action while fishing… Kokanee have become wildly popular over the last several years! Here is the best part, these land-locked Sockeye Salmon have bright red meat and make for excellent table fare! Anglers on most lakes and reservoirs find limits of kokanee each day and are able to fill the freezer quickly with high quality fish! Plus, Kokanee fishing makes for a great day on the water with dozens of bites and the chance for Anglers to experiment with colors and scents!
Saturday, April 29th
Come listen to our All-Star cast of speakers covering every topic imaginable when it comes to Kokanee! This day will be held at the beautiful Lewis River Golf Course and includes a Professionally catered Lunch for all Attendees! Each person will receive a grab bag full of gear, tackle, coupons and discounts! Be ready to learn because our speakers are a wealth of knowledge and will be sharing detailed tactics when targeting Kokanee!
Sunday, April 30th
We head to the water on either Yale or Merwin Reservoir to take the knowledge from Saturday’s courses and receive hands on training from our speakers! This is your opportunity to have 1 on 1 time with those in the know to ask specific questions and become a better Kokanee Angler! Learn everything from how to stack downriggers, creating bait, following the bite, reading your graph and more! Be sure to bring a cooler…because while you are learning, we should be able to find a fish or two!
